Great place for darkness time fun with my LGBTQ family. What night did we go? Skillfully, karaoke night of course! Great harmony, great bar service, and they even have great food! I definitely endorse checking it out.

It was fun, my husband and I went to a exhibit while visiting VA Beach in off season and had a blast. Very friendly. We were the oldest there and they were still nice to us. Very neighborhood kinda feel. Place was packed. Kind mix of all kinds of people with no tude.

First off, I think that Herndon is a pretty nice place. There has been an illegal immigrant problem, but that doesn't really change the older estabished neighorhoods and certainly not the zip code areas. It's a real town with a true history. The downtown is still intact and the excellent bones and many the multi-generations of residents are still there. Herndon is also getting a friendly hotel to serve revitalize the downtown and a Metro station will eventually service it.

Enter NOVA's second gay bar. Fairfax County's first male lover bar builds a following in Herndon . Gay bars are associated with gentrification. They are often located in fringe areas where the affluent alternative lifestyle crowd moves in an improves the area. The problem is that I don't reflect that Herndon is run down en

Virginia Beach Gay City Guide

Virginia Beach is a beautiful city and the largest in Virginia. Located on the coastline of the Atlantic Ocean, it is part of what is known as the Hampton Roads metro area, along with Portsmouth, Hampton, and several other nearby cities. It is considered by many to be a resort city, and much of its income comes from the tourist industry, although it is also home to many historic sites, three military bases, and plenty to watch and do. Even better, it has a growing and thriving LGBTQ community. Truly, Virginia Beach has it all!

A Look at Virginia Beach’s History

Virginia Beach was initially found in 1887. It was first developed as a resort, following the construction of a hotel and railroad linking it with nearby Norfolk. After World War I, however, Virginia Beach became an significant base in the national coastal defense system and remains so to this day, as it is home to three military bases. Virginia Beach is a city known for its distinct maritime heritage, but also one that has become a linear, forward-thinking place with friendly people, a coastal vibe, and plenty to see and do.
