Last week, WWE announced that it had “come to terms on the release” of former Tag Team Champion Darren Young. Almost seven years ago, then-WWE superstar Darren Young made headlines when he revealed he happens to be queer. Days before SummerSlam 2013, the artist disclosed that evidence during an interview with TMZ at LAX airport, making him the first out WWE player. It was a milestone moment not only for the pro wrestler, whose real name is Fred Rosser, but the industry as a whole.
Though he was initially worried about what the world at big would think, Rosser, who was permit go from the WWE in 2017, quickly felt a weight lifted off his shoulders since the reaction was largely supportive. The 36-year-old went on Ellen and Today Show, hoping to inspire others.

LANHAM, Md. (CBSDC) — Two weeks ago Darren Young made history by becoming the first WWE wrestler to publicly reveal that he is gay.
And although one may assume the atmosphere inside of a professional wrestling locker room would more closely resemble a Hollywood arrange, given the elaborate story lines and over the uppermost in-ring performances, the environment can still parallel that of an NBA or NFL dressing area at times as many of the performers come from traditional athletic backgrounds.

In a sport marked by uber-masculine moves and high drama, another professional athlete has come out of the closet, crumbling yet another barrier in the world of sports.
Wrestling superstar Darren Little, whose real name is Fred Rosser, went public for the first time Wednesday when confronted by TMZ at Los Angeles International Airport to comfortably and casually state he's gay.

Adolescent has said that as a boy he'd had a speech impediment and had been teased in school. The wrestler has been involved in the WWE Be a Star anti-bullying campaign to help young people.
