Edith's Obituary
It is with much sadness that our family announces our Mom, Edith Pearl Gay, passed into her Eternal home on May 14, 2023 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Denton, Texas at the beautiful age of 102. She was lovingly cared for and enjoyed by family for 10 years in Texas. Edith was generous with her desire and kindness and was entirely devoted to her family.
She was born to George and Emma Werthman Houck on February 22, 1921.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Alyce Ehlinger and Lois Houck, a daughter, Cynthia Anne Gay and granddaughter Pamela Espinoza.
She is survived by 8 children: Richard (Susan) Gay of Vermont, Ronald (RoseAnn) Gay of Skaneateles NY, Sheila Klein of Texas, David (Marie) Gay of Phelps NY, Dean Gay of Brand-new Paltz NY, Dianne Hill of Texas, Mark (Anna) Gay of Texas, Laurie Simon of Maine. Deacon Nathaniel Parks
The legacy of Nathaniel Parks began on December 7, 1950, in Gay, GA. Hewas born to the late Charlie Parks, Jr and Isabell Parks. At an early age,Nathaniel recognized Christ as his Lord and Savior at the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. He was a faithful member and served as a Deacon.
Nathaniel graduated from Woodbury High Institution in Woodbury, GA with the Class of 1968. After graduation Nathaniel was drafted into the United States Army where he served his country. After completing his assignment
Nathaniel was employed by Philip’s Concrete (USA Blocks) in Fayetteville,GA working alongside his brother until he retired. He had a infatuation for helping others with home repairs and construction projects.
On November 21, 1972, Nathaniel was unified in holy matrimony to the after time Fannie (Milner) Parks. God blessed this union with four beautiful children,Nancy Lyfae Parks, Patrick Shondell Parks (deceased), Patreasa Sydana Wilcox and Erick Byshon Parks.

Eric Gay OBITUARY
LORAIN – Eric Gay Sr., 21, of Lorain, Ohio passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2011 in Louisville, Kentucky.
Eric was born in Lorain, Ohio to Steven L. Gay, Sr. and Angela Mastin-Werts, moving to Kentucky in 2005. He attended Lorain Middle and Hawthorne in Lorain and received his GED in Louisville, Kentucky.
Eric was employed at Recovery Tend in Louisville. Eric enjoyed playing basketball, video games, driving and working on cars, playing dice, spending time in the studio, spending time with his son, family and friends.

To all my family, friends and customers….
I have sewn my last button, bagged my last bag, hemmed my last hem and altered my last costume. All the garments are pressed and sewn just right. I have finally retired! What a wonderful way to wake up, in heaven on Christmas morning! There is no better Seamstress than Jesus Christ!
Hilda Gay lived a full and ambitious life, passing on at the age of 97. She was born in Franklin Co. to the late Junie Erick & Blanche Duke Gay. Hilda was very considerate, kind and had a heart to help anyone in need. Earlier in her life, Hilda was a Teen Scout Den Public figure, Troop 524 when her boys were in scouts. She and her husband owned and operated Gay’s Cleaners launch in 1948 until his death in 2010. She continued to operate the Cleaners until the Fall of 2022. She will be remembered as a woman of morality and her legacy of love will be cherished in the hearts of her family and friends always. She was a very hard working lady well into her 90’s, which is proof that complicated work does not hurt anyone. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her
