Kristen Stewart opens up about her sexuality, says she struggled to understand her identity
The actor, who identifies as bisexual in real life, said she endured a long struggle comprehending her identity but is happy she was able to "articulate" who she is.
"I'm so prosperous to live in this particular day of history... If you were to look at kids right now, even just five years, seven to 10 years younger than me, they would find my sort of struggle to come to terms with like self and communication caring of silly.
"And I feed off them, even though I think that I might've had something to do with feeding that, a little bit, because it was prefer. not the hardest thing to earn to know myself it was just ... it takes a few years to actually articulate who you are. And now that I'm living in a time where that's fully allowed, in a way that is expressed and honest ... that wasn't that way five to seven years ago," Stewart told E! News.
The 29-year-old performer was speaking at the premiere of her latest "Charlie's Angels".

Kristen Stewart rose to fame through her role as Bella Swan in the Twilight movie series, which was released between 2008 and 2012.
While on the surface the films are about the romance between a regular school teen (Stewart) and the vampire Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), Stewart has had a lot of period to reflect on the movies since they ended, and she sees unique "gay" undertones in them.
"I can only see it now," she told Variety.

For context, Stewart is openly lgbtq+, and got engaged to her girlfriend Dylan Meyer help in 2021.
"It’s such a gay movie," she continued. "I mean, Jesus Christ, Taylor [Lautner] and Rob and me, and it’s so hidden and not OK. I represent , a Mormon lady wrote this guide. It’s all about oppression, about wanting what’s going to destroy you. That’s a very Gothic, gay inclination that I love."
Stewart has two movies coming up soon: Love Me, which premieres at Sundance Festival on Jan. 19, and Love Lies Bleeding, which will be released Rally 8.
