Sacramento Celebration Festival and March

Every June, Sacramento Pride gets the LGBTQ society and allies up and out for a weekend of fun, festivities, and activism. The SacPride Fest regularly features entertainers, guest speakers, kid's activities, and more. The weekend culminates in a Pride March that leads community members to the Capitol Building alongside colorful floats and song with a concentrate on social justice issues affecting the queer community.

Sacramento Rainbow Festival

The Rainbow Festival is an annual street fair that takes place every year over Labor Day weekend and consists of exhibitor booths, food stations and live bands. This festival raises money for charities that have significant importance to the queer community.

Drag Queen Bingo

B-4 you go…head to Mango’s on the first Thursday of each month for a night of great, old-fashioned bingo with a modern, high-fashion twist. Local flamboyant performers walk you through an electrifying evening of comedy and gameplay that benefits a diverse queer-focused charity every month.

The annual Sacramento Pride event, hosted by the Sacramento LGBT Collective Center, is set to pull crowds this weekend (June 14-15).

The two-day event kicks off with a festival on Capitol Mall that runs Saturday and Sunday. Additionally, a march beginning at Southside Park is scheduled for Sunday.

Festival Street Closures

Organizers will start setting up fencing and equipment along Capitol Mall on Wednesday, June 11 at 5 p.m.

The following streets will be closed through Monday, June 16 at 8 a.m. for the Self-acceptance Festival.

  • Capitol Mall from 3rd to 7th streets
  • 4th Street from L Street to N Street
  • 5th Street from L Street to N Street
  • 6th Street from L Street to Capitol Mall

March Rolling Street Closures

The following streets will be closed for the Pride March on Sunday (June 15).

  • 8th Street from W to T streets
  • T Highway from 8th to 10th streets
  • 10th Street from T Street to Capitol Mall
  • Capitol Mall from 9th to 10th streets

Sacramento Pride March and Festival will return for a weekend of entertainment, awareness, and community.

The two-day festival brings together 20,000+ group members to celebrate the colorful culture and group of Sacramento’s LGBTQ+ population. The festival grounds praise three entertainment stages, DJ booths with dance areas, youth and family activities, hundreds of local vendors, food trucks, beverage stations with specialty cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks, and a 21+ VIP Lounge. One-day and two-day tickets are available and are required for entry to the festival.

Sac Pride’s three stages include the Q-Spot Exist youth stage, the Stonewall Pavilion community stage, and the central Pride Stage – all hosted by Sacramento-favorite drag performers. Saturday’s entertainment lineup will contain incredible performances sourced from Sacramento’s creative economy and conclude with a sunset showcase of the festival’s headlining acts.
